1. Legal basis

Panama Law 81/2019 and Executive Decree 285/2021 (ANTAI), without prejudice to other applicable rules.

2. Data we process

Identity/contact; trip preferences; App interaction events (e.g., start_quote, view_itinerary, download_pdf, share_whatsapp, submit_lead); language and device; communications; operational integrations (CRM, URL shortener, payment gateway). Analytics (GA4) only if you consent. We do not send PII to GA4.

3. Purposes

(i) Provide quotes and itineraries; (ii) secure bookings with suppliers; (iii) business-hours support and 24/7 emergencies; (iv) communications about your quote/booking; (v) security, fraud prevention, and service improvement; (vi) legal compliance (incl. ITBMS 7% and invoicing).

4. Legal bases

Contract performance/pre-contract steps; consent (e.g., analytics); legitimate interest (security/UX improvement); legal obligation.

5. Retention

We retain data during the relationship and for legal limitation periods.
Unconverted leads: 12 months.

6. Sharing & transfers

Suppliers (hotels, golf courses, transfers, tours, yachts) receive only what’s necessary to deliver the service; processors (HubSpot, Bitly, payment; analytics when enabled). Data may be hosted outside Panama with appropriate safeguards.

7. Your rights

Access, rectification, deletion, objection, portability, consent withdrawal; complaints to ANTAI. Requests: legal@panamagolfadventure.com.

8. Security

Reasonable technical/organizational measures; incident notice where required.

9. Cookies & similar tech

We use cookies/pixels/local storage for essential purposes and, optionally, analytics.

9.1 Categories

Essential: site/App operation, security, load balancing, remember language/basic settings.
Analytics (optional): measure the quote→itinerary→lead funnel and improve UX.
Marketing: not enabled.

9.2 Consent management (banner)

A cookie banner (Consentik or Wix native) is displayed. Until you accept Analytics, GA4 will not load. You can change your choice via the banner (when available) or by contacting us.

9.3 User controls

Manage cookies via the banner, your browser, and mobile OS settings.

9.4 Retention

Essential: as needed to operate the site. Analytics (if you accept): per tool limits (e.g., GA4), typically up to 13–14 months.

10. WhatsApp & links

If you share via WhatsApp, relevant content goes to that channel. We use Bitly to shorten links/measure clicks in its own domain.
